Jake: Ok so we just need to type out what we did.
Tal: Wait this isn't a video blog?
Jake: No. I told you not to let me volunteer. I raised my hand to carry the water.
Tal: I had no idea. We really messed this up didn't we?
Jake: Yeah. We, I suppose.
Tal: I will get you the table, you type. I will tell you what to type.
Jake: Very Israeli, I like it.
Tal: We want to talk about the airport? Achim Achim Achim, Simcha Simcha Simcha? Did you like the balloons and the jumping we did to you?
Jake: Yeah... we had only flown for approximately 24 hours at that point. So yeah, we were super excited to jump around.
Tal: I was excited to jump. I was a little embarrassed, but I tried my best to welcome you in a nice way. To break the ice, as you said.
Jake: It did work. Ice broken. The best part was that afterwards we had this sweet busride where we got to meet everyone... and get to see the beautiful countryside... you know, at least the part we didn't sleep through.
Tal: It was great to meet to everyone in the back of the bus. I loved it. And that night we had a great dinner, followed by a lot of fun getting to know each other that night.
Jake: But obviously we all went to bed at a 100% reasonable hour. 8 great hours of sleep!
Tal: Not me, I was up late getting to meet all of my new friends! And then up nice and early the next morning for a wonderful breakfast, and a great hike in the woods.
Jake: That hike was fantastic, up near the Zavitan River and pool, where we saw the Israeli views while fully conscience.
Tal: And continued to meet each other. I even got an extra 30 minutes... when I got lost.
Jake: No worries buddy, we know you got our back. Gotta say that hike was great, but not as awesome as what followed?
Tal: The rafting down past the Jordan River?
Jake: Nope, lunch. What up Shwarma.
Tal: Did you like the violence in the rafting. Like American Football hits.
Jake: Unreal. I don't understand how American Football hasn't caught on. Also, somehow I still have all my internal organs functioning. But seriously, it was tons of fun.
Tal: How did you feel about the Syrian border and the Golan Heights?
Jake: It was interesting, it was great to have you and the other guys to explain all of the information about the border to us. I really got to see it first hand. I do have to ask you, how does all of that feel for you?
Tal: I served there one year ago for about six months inside Avital Mountain, near where we were. It is exciting to be there again, to see what every morning I woke up to command my soldiers to keep this border and keep the tanks and prepare for war. Now someone else does it, and now I can do Shorashim because someone else keeps the border safely. I did it last year, and now someone else does it.
Jake: And that is why this trip is great. Also, the dinner that night, which was delicious.
Tal: And the stories. Jake your story was...
Jake: Not happening Tal.
Tal: Embarrassing stories are great though. 30 people, hookah, coffee/tea, sit together like brothers, like we met two years ago. It was fun.
Jake: Agreed. Morning was rough.
Tal: What does it mean rough?
Jake: Difficult.
Tal: Yeah.
Jake: Speaking of which, lets tell about Day 2 quickly.
Tal: We did Day 2, lets do Day 1.
Jake: We did Day 1 and 2, we need to do Day 3.
Tal: We were just in Svat. We just saw some musicians, playing the persian violin, called the Kamanche.
Tal: "Kamanche". Its a name you know.
Jake: Oh.
Tal: Ok, then we went shopping, we saw the Temple, we went and got lunch. What did you eat? I ate Falafel. Do you know Falafel? Do you like Falafel?
Jake: Yeah, but I am on a Shwarma kick.
Tal: Chicken.
Jake: Maybe. Then we hit up that sweet mystical rabbi guy. Awesome overall.
Tal: Yup, then the beautiful ride to Jerusalem.
Jake: Oh yeah! That was INCREDIBLE. I mean, INCREDIBLE! We had the best conversation about the Arab-Israeli and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with an expert. Just great overall.
Tal: I slept every single minute in this ride. Svat to Jerusalem - 3 hours.
Jake: And also a little during the lecture. Speaking of sleep - it's about time to catch up! Big day tomorrow.
Tal: Perfect. You should write, I am having so much fun I wish it would never end, we should travel forever. So much fun and we all love each other.
Jake: I think you said it perfectly.
